Nila & Haiig | Stone Tower Winery | June 22nd, 2018

In the rolling hills of Leesburg, VA is a rustic, charming vineyard that is host to many beautifully unique wedding celebrations. Our hardworking team has had the pleasure of providing entertainment for numerous weddings at the venue and every visit brings fond new memories.

Stone Tower Winery was founded in 2009, having purchased the land only a few years earlier with the primary intention of preservation. It was over time that they studied the land and determined it would be a prime location for a vineyard. The business began, and the view of the countryside was instantly in high demand for weddings, private parties and more!

On June 22nd, Nila and Haiig vowed to spend the rest of their lives together set amongst giant steel wine vessels, their family and friends, and their beloved pup – who played the role of ring bearer quite well!

Nila and Haiig chose one of our talented violinists to navigate the ceremony. When Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” began to play, Nila’s bridesmaids gracefully walked down the aisle, wearing blush and carrying exquisite bouquets of ivory, coral and pale pink garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus provided by Virginia’s master floral designer, Courtney Inghram.

Once their vows were exchanged and the Persian Aghd Ceremony ended with cheering family and friends, the couple began their recessional at the start of “Mobarak Bad” by Rushid. This stunning Sofreh was created by Exclusively Events by PG.

As the guests made their way into cocktail hour, our photo booth was open for business! Over 400 goofy pictures were taken with our high-quality wedding props in front of the white backdrop the couple selected. We have to give a shoutout to Nila’s graphic design skills, because she created her very own stationary and photo strip to keep the color scheme of their wedding consistent throughout even the tiniest of details.

One hour later, in the Vineyard View Ballroom, Nila and Haiig’s celebration began. The guests all rose to their feet to welcome the bride and groom for the first time as a married couple and Nila and Haiig danced to the center of the dance floor to Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For.”

After making their grand entrance, they spun into their first dance. Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé’s “Perfect” created the perfect chemistry on the dance floor and Anna Kardos got this beautiful shot of the couple gazing into each other’s eyes and singing to the lyrics.

Following their first dance, the guests enjoyed a plated dinner provided by Main Event Caterers. Once dinner was finished, Nila and her bridesmaids joined together to perform the traditional Persian Knife Dance. Once Nila and Haiig got a hold of the knife, the music transitioned to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and together they cut into their cake.

Signature Sweets by Amanda baked a four-tier cake with minimalistic decals and collaborated with Courtney Inghram, who topped the cake with her floral creations.

Afterwards, DJ Payam and our percussionist worked hand in hand to keep everyone on their feet with a mix of Persian, Armenian and American music until it was time for doors to close.

The reception was an absolute blast and we have to give props to Nila and Haiig for planning such a trendy wedding. Did we mention their incredible donut wall? These donuts by Fractured Prune are certainly impressive and my mouth may be watering just by looking at the picture, but what makes this wall more special is that it was handmade by Haiig! Any woman would know it’s true love when the groom-to-be prioritizes food. 😉

Congratulations to Nila and Haiig! We wish you a lifetime of happiness, health, prosperity and “A Hole Lotta Love.”

A very big thank you to Anna Kardos for sharing these photos with us. Through her vision, we were able to demonstrate to our readers how much fun they can have and how much joy will be brought to their guests if they book our talented team.

It was also a pleasure to work alongside Kerri from Blush Events, who was Nila and Haiig’s day of coordinator. We would also like to give an honorable mention to Claudine Fay, who though we didn’t have the opportunity to meet in person, did an excellent job with bridal hair and makeup artistry.
